I have had collies since 1989. Although I showed in my youth and as a young adult, it was not until 2000 that I began to really focus on developing my own line. I have had the honor of having several long time collie breeders mentor me. They have been instrumental in helping me achieve my goals as a breeder. My desire is to produce sound dogs in both body and mind. Our dogs are thoroughly vetted and all DNA work is completed before used in our breeding program. Not only do I strive to produce dogs that are bred to the standard and are competitive on a national level in conformation but I also take pride that my dogs perform the tasks they were originally bred to do. We live on land and have livestock that the dogs help us tend to. I have produced many dogs that have gone on to be service, performance, and conformation dogs. They live with us and have free reign of the house. Except when someone is in heat, they are separated at that time to prevent unwanted breeding. Collies are gentle, bold and unafraid and I intend to continue preserving this breed for many years to come. My daughters (who my kennel is named after) have joined me on this adventure. They started in 4H and are now young adults pursuing this passion with me.
