Ashford Kennel has been devoted to promoting and breeding quality Lowchen since the 1980’s. We are dedicated to the breed and operate with the belief that there are three neccesary things to be considered to be a better breeder. Its’s like making Gunbo, you have to have the holy trinity. Instead of Celery, Bell Peppers and Onions, our holy trinity is Confirmation, Health and Temperament. All being equal. Our dogs are found in almost every pedigree in the United States. We have been a top ranked kennel for many years producing over 150 champions, group winning Lowchen and even a FCI World Winner. Ashford Kennel has worked with many quality kennels, providing them with quality Lowchen.  We have also started and encouraged many newcomers into the breed, and hope to continue doing so. Equally important we have produced many loved pets. Healthy little dogs that many families, through out the United States, have owned and loved. We are proud that multiple generations of people in our pet owning families have come back repeatedly to us for their pet Lowchen. This is the highest compliment!
