A delight to be around, Gavin is the first to wag his tail at new comers. He loves kids, and wants to lick everyone’s face. Gavin is balanced in body structure and conformation. He is not a large dog, weighing around 49 lbs. his coat is a gorgeous silvery blue color, with tan accents on his legs, chest, inner ears, cheek and eyebrow spots. Gavin loves to do scent work, and is always up for adventure and competition. His herding instincts are ok but it is apparent he is a bit distracted. Gavin proves to be a winner in the conformation shows. He is a Silver Grand Chanpion, and was recently chosen for the NOHS best in Specialty Owner Handled Top Twenty winner! Gavin is a multiple placing variety group and multiple winning and placing in owner handled herding groups. AKC Scentwork is a fun game that we love to play together. Gavin is a very nice searcher. He has his Master Title in containers, and an Excellent in the other elements  we are still working on titling in. He is also a very good service dog for me due to my genetic disease, Gavin has been trained to aid me when needed, and is very good at handling this job.
