Ashly Hartmann

Ashly is a business leader with more than 20 years of experience in pet supplies, construction, real estate, and corporate operations. As co‑founder of R‑Value Insulators, she led the implementation of EOS, driving clarity, accountability, and profitable growth. She also founded Ash Property Developments and previously served as Merchandising Manager at Drs. Foster & Smith, where she managed $30M+ in annual sales and deepened her understanding of the pet industry and e‑commerce. Ashly left Drs. Foster & Smith prior to Petco’s acquisition of the company in 2014.

As CEO & Integrator at Better Breeder Institute, Ashly is responsible for strategy, finance, and building the operational backbone that turns BBI’s vision for the purebred conservation breeder community into reality.

She and her husband are longtime AKC Pointer owners who value purpose-bred purebred dogs as exceptional family companions. Her leadership is grounded in faith, love of family, and a deep commitment to the people she serves.
