Yates Family Labradors (YFL) is a multi-generation, family-run Labrador Retriever breeding program based in Arlington, Virginia. Labradors have been part of our family long before the current generation, and our program is built on decades of hands-on experience, intentional pairings, and a deep commitment to producing healthy, stable, well-rounded dogs.

We specialize in American Labradors bred for exceptional temperament, sound structure, and versatility — whether as loving family companions, service dogs, or active working partners. Every breeding dog undergoes comprehensive health testing, and we prioritize early neurological stimulation, structured socialization, and thoughtful exposure to real-life environments to give each puppy the strongest possible foundation.

At YFL, we believe responsible breeding extends far beyond sending puppies home. We provide lifelong breeder support, guidance on training and care, and maintain close relationships with our puppy families.
