At TAGA Ranch, we are dedicated to raising exceptional Australian Shepherds with a strong foundation in health, temperament, and early development. Our puppies are born and raised in our home, ensuring they receive individualized care, socialization, and enrichment to prepare them for their future families.
We follow elements of Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), Puppy Culture, and Badass Breeders protocols to help our puppies develop confidence and resilience. Litter training begins at an early age, and we expose our puppies to a variety of experiences, including household and outdoor noises, different textures, children, and new people. This well-rounded approach helps them become adaptable and well-socialized companions.
Health is our top priority. Our breeding dogs undergo OFA health testing or have parentage testing to ensure genetic soundness and overall well-being. Before leaving for their new homes, every puppy receives a comprehensive vet check to confirm they are healthy and thriving.
TAGA Ranch is proud to be a state-licensed kennel for 10 years and an AKC-licensed breeder. We operate in Iowa, one of the strictest states for breeder regulations, and we are committed to exceeding these high standards. We also participate in continuing education yearly to stay up to date on the best breeding, training, and health practices.
