The Best Yorkies™ by Montbleau is not just a name, it is a promise to produce the most versatile, sound, and healthy Yorkies in the USA. Our dogs are all  AKC/UKC Champions and most have titles in at least one other discipline. Adults are OFA/CHIC health tested. All adults and puppies are Embark tested as well and we provide a lifetime guarantee against serious inheritable conditions.

We breed selectively for structure, health, and temperament. The majority of our dogs come from Russia and Russian lines, though there are some other countries in the pedigrees. Generally speaking, these lines have a lower prey drive drive than their American counterparts and can be less stubborn.

Our primary focus is on biddable dogs that will adapt to your lifestyle and be the perfect companion for any environment. Whether you are looking for a dog that can do conformation, agility, therapy, or just a structurally sound family member – we can help you find your perfect puppy.

We breed to standard. We do not breed for trends. We do not breed off standard colors, nor do we breed for size or extreme features. We selectively breed based on the physical and mental soundness of the parents – the latter of which is too often overlooked and forgotten with toy breeds.

Our primary sire is one of the most widely titled dogs in the country with more than a dozen titles across two registries and six disciplines. Our dogs are often shown by Junior Handlers as young as five years old. Character, confidence, and personality are as important in a small dog as they are in a big dog.

From 2025-2026, our dogs have amassed more than 25 titles and awards across AKC and UKC in conformation, rally, obedience, lure coursing, Top Ten, and Total Dog awards, but our biggest source of pride comes from puppy owners who call and say “he’s just the best Yorkie ever!”

Our puppies are temperament tested and placed based on each individual family’s needs.
