McElyea’s McSchnauzers Standard Schnauzers

Our mission at MMSS is a simple one: we are “Raising Standards To Make A Difference.” What we mean by that is, not only are we breeding for preservation, health, competition and performance, but we have a personal missing to raise a generation of standard schnauzers to make a difference in their communities. We personally work in AAI (animal-assisted interactions) and all 5 of our personal dogs are or have been certified therapy animals. We promote the SS to owners looking to do therapy work with their dogs and make a positive impact in their communities. While we strive to breed quality standards that are structurally sound, have a solid, steady and loving temperament, and with an athleticism that keeps them competitive, we are most proud when we see SS from our kennel spreading joy and kindness and making the world a better place. All puppies are raised in our home–not in a kennel–and have full access once old enough to our expansive yard, just like our personal dogs. From day one, they are living like members of our family.
