We are the proud breeders of AKC Best in Show and Group-winning Alaskan Malamutes. Our purpose in breeding our dogs is to preserve quality bloodlines. Our goal is to produce healthy, good-tempered dogs who meet the AKC breed standard as closely as possible; are built to do the job for which they were originally intended; provide many years of love and satisfying companionship to those who own them. To meet this goal, we screen all of our breeding stock for healthy hips, eyes and hearts, and perform all available DNA testing for health concerns in the Alaskan Malamute; breed only those dogs with a temperament that, when properly shaped by good socialization and training by the owner, can succeed as a family pet; plan our breedings using the AKC breed standard as our blueprint. We strive to place each dog in a home that will love that dog for the duration of its life and give it the best opportunity to realize its individual potential. We breed only when we want a puppy for ourselves, typically once every 3-4 years, and we keep a waiting list for our puppies.
