The focus of my breeding program is to produce goldens who are well-suited for the field and family…pups that have sound structure, solid instincts, biddability, good temperament, great health and impeccable field aptitude. Preserving the breed by keeping the “retriever” in a golden retriever! All of my parents are, at a minimum, OFA cleared for hip, elbow, eye & heart & DNA tested for prcdPRA, PRA-GR1, PRA-GR2, Ichthyosis, NCL. All of my parents are dual-registered with both AKC & UKC. All of my parents are proven in the field. My goldens are shaded on the darker end of the golden spectrum and all have easy-to-care-for field coats. My goldens are within the breed standard for height. My males are 60-70 lbs and my females are 50-55 lbs. My goldens are healthy & happy and all have a stellar work ethic and an equally great playful side! ;o) My 2 super star studs are well-known in the field world. “Grip” is a 5x Grand Hunting Retriever Champion and is in 2 Hall of Fames – he is the highest titled golden in HRC and the only living golden who has been inducted into both the GRCA Hunt Test Hall of Fame AND the HRC Hall of Fame! He’s also a Master National Retriever with 2 MN passes. Django is also in the GRCA Hunt Test Hall of Fame with over 50 Master passes, a Grand pass and a Master National pass.
