My husband Steve and I live in Minocqua, Wisconsin with our 3  English Setters.  I am an active member of the Western English Setter Club of Chicago, the Kettle Moraine English Setter Club of Milwaukee, and serve on the board of directors for the English Setter Association of America as the North Central Regional Vice President and the National Specialty Co Ordinator. I began my love affair with the breed in 1993 after acquiring my first english setter and the foundation of Huntwood English Setters.  Her name was Chiquita, Am/Can BIS BISS CH. Trabeiz Premonition Of A Dream, JH.   She took me on an incredible journey.  In addition to her Best In Show wins and multiple Specialty wins, in 1999 handled by Eileen Hackett, and she won Best of Breed at the English Setter Association of America National Specialty.  Throughout this time, I met many wonderful people who served as mentors and guided me along the way.  With their help, I have cultivated my skills in the ring, in the field, and as a breeder, currently being an AKC Breeder Of Merit. ++++++
