Down Low Kennels, owned and operated by Frank Lavoie and Adam Duke, is a preservation-focused kennel dedicated to the responsible breeding and advancement of Giant Schnauzers and Norwich Terriers.

Our program is grounded in decades of hands-on experience in animal husbandry, competitive conformation, and ethical breeding practices. Frank and Adam are actively involved in the sport of dogs, consistently showing and finishing their dogs to championships and grand championships under respected judges. Every breeding is carefully planned with an emphasis on correct breed type, sound structure, stable temperaments, and long-term health.

Both owners are deeply involved in breed and club leadership. Frank Lavoie serves as President and Delegate of his local AKC-affiliated kennel club and currently holds a seat on the Board of Directors for the breed club. Adam Duke serves as the Breed Clubs Health and Hereditary Chair, overseeing health testing, pedigree research, and responsible breeding decisions to protect the future of the breeds.

Their background extends beyond dogs alone, with a lifetime immersed in breeding, raising, and showing animals across multiple species. This foundation provides a strong understanding of genetics, structure, and responsible care that carries into every aspect of the program.

Puppies are raised in a hands-on environment, thoughtfully socialized, and placed with intention. Down Low Kennels believes breeders are lifelong stewards of the dogs they produce and remain a resource for their puppy owners long after placement.
