Double G’s Danish Swedish Farmdogs was established in 2013 with the purchase of our first Farmdog Olga. In 2015, we purchased our 2nd girl Yemanjaand from Erika Karlsson in Sweden. Then in 2016, we picked up Jens our first stud dog. They are all still with us. Olga was the 1st DSF to receive a Certificate of Merit, the predecessor of a Championship when a breed is being established with the AKC.

We currently have more Champion Farmdogs than any other breeder in the US. We bred Millie, the current #1 Farmdog in the country. Of the first 11 DSF, we have 3 Grand champions. Olga, still going strong at 12 is 1/2 way to her Bronze Grand. We owe all of our success to Erika Karlsson and Lars Adeheimer, the breeder who wrote the standard in Sweden in the 1970a. They were both generous is sharing their amazing genetics with us.

Dan and I started Double G’s Kennel in 1990 with the purchase and breeding of Maggie, our first Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

We are proud of the dogs we have produced, shown, sold and shared with many others in Wisconsin and across the US.

It is not all about the show ring. That is the foundation of good breeding stock with desirable health, structure, and performance skills. Dan and I are still actively practicing in the 4 veterinary practices we own. That means we have had to leave performance events to those farm dogs and their people who have purchased pups from us.
