Welcome to Cornerstone Border Terriers! We are Thomas and Shannon Golden, and for the past seven years, we’ve been dedicated to raising and preserving the wonderful Border Terrier breed.

Our passion for breeding comes from a deep appreciation for these remarkable little dogs and a belief that preservation breeders play an essential role in ensuring the breeds we know and love continue for generations to come. Without dedicated breeders willing to carry on this responsibility, we risk losing the unique qualities that make each breed so special. We wanted to pick up that mantle and do our part to support the future of this incredible breed.

At Cornerstone Border Terriers, breeding is about more than producing puppies. It’s about protecting the health, temperament, and distinctive characteristics that make Border Terriers such a treasured breed. We place great importance on health and genetic testing, sound temperaments, and preserving the qualities that make a Border Terrier unmistakably a Border Terrier.

We believe every puppy deserves the best possible start in life, and every family deserves a breeder who genuinely cares about the puppy long after it goes home. Building relationships with my puppy families and providing ongoing support throughout their journey is one of the most meaningful parts of what we do.

Our goal is to contribute to the future of the Border Terrier through thoughtful, responsible breeding while sharing the joy, personality, and companionship of this amazing breed with families who will cherish them as much as we do.
