We are a small preservationist kennel owning Borzoi since 1985, and a believer in functional dogs with stellar temperaments and breed type.   Pedigree research, health testing, assessment of the dogs conformation and athleticism are all used when making breeding decisions.  Careful temperament assessment is used to match the pups to their future owners.  Lifetime member of Borzoi Club of America and the first Platinum Breeder of Merit for Borzoi with AKC.  I have been an American Sighthound Field Association all breed lure coursing judge since 2004, and also an AKC lure coursing judge since 2004.  Dogs of my breeding/cobreeding have won specialties, best in fields, national race events, and have been number one at open field coursing, AKC lure coursing, ASFA lure coursing, LGRA straight racing and NOTRA oval racing.  Others have competed happily in rally and obedience and the best have been therapy dogs, and great family dogs and couch potatoes.  We do not accept applications or deposits until we have an actual litter on the ground with puppies available, and often refer people to other responsible breeders in their area if we are contacted by those across country.
