AKZ Shiba Inus

My name is Katie and I began showing golden retrievers as a junior. I was raised around a boarding and grooming kennel, doing 4-H and working on training dogs.  I took a break to have children, when my youngest turned 3, I decided to find my heart breed. We began breeding to preserve the amazing qualities of the Shiba Inu. From hunting, flushing, and muscular bodies, our shibas fit the standard well. We are currently doing pet homes but are open to a show home in the future. Our puppies are raised in a house full of kids, exposed to noise like vacuums, blenders, kids, and taking trips to ball games. I have successfully trained one as a psychiatric service dog and currently training another SD for my son who has a progressive brain disorder. We adore our dogs and raise them by hand from birth. While shibas may be aloof, ours are cuddlers, lovers and just all around sound dogs with amazing temperaments and conformity.
